One month after the week of architecture, Pecha Kucha Night Jaén Volume#1 will show a wide panorama featuring several architectural offices, video-artists, editors, photography and much more, including twelve presentations by Comuna Creativa, DJ arquitectura, ER arquitectos, Javier Milla, Jesús Granada, Manuel Mateo Pérez, DDZ David Díez, Brijuni Arquitectos, Carmen Rísquez Cuenca, 24studio, Manuel Rodríguez Sanz and Semisótano (RGRM arquitectos).

Un mes después de la semana de la arquitectura, Pecha Kucha Night Jaén Volume#1 mostrará un amplio panorama donde la creatividad es la excusa para distintas aproximaciones a la arquitectura, el espacio urbano, la fotografía de arquitectura y de naturaleza, así como para presentaciones sobre arqueología, literatura y edición a cargo de Comuna Creativa, DJ arquitectura, ER arquitectos, Javier Milla, Jesús Granada, Manuel Mateo Pérez, DDZ David Díez, Brijuni Arquitectos, Carmen Rísquez Cuenca, 24studio, Manuel Rodríguez Sanz y Semisótano (RGRM arquitectos).

Little boxes

Urbanismo hecho a la medida de los políticos y su afán recaudatorio. Agotamiento de un modelo de crecimiento urbano basado en el consumo de suelo y la repetición del modelo suburbano americano de sprawl city que fracasó allí, derivando finalmente en las gated communities, fortalezas con seguridad privada donde el sueño americano pervive en torno al mall en una burbuja de realidad paralela. De todo esto hablamos en el sexto post de nuestra colaboración con el blog la ciudad viva, rescatando textos mucho más interesantes de Antonio Miranda, Antonio Muñoz Molina, Vicente Patón o Fernando de Terán.
